Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have under California law, including the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

Who we are

This website (ninatien.org) is operated by Nina Tien, a real estate salesperson licensed by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE #01420365), whose responsible broker is Century Financial Group, Corp. (DRE #01930905), 8295 Bolsa Avenue, Midway City, CA 92655. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Nina Tien and, where broker supervision or record-keeping applies, Century Financial Group, Corp..

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use a form on this site, we collect what you enter:

  • Home valuation (CMA) request: property address, property type, bedrooms, timeline, name, email, and phone number (optional).
  • Contact form: name, email, phone number (optional), area of interest, and your message.
  • Seller Playbook and Market Brief sign-ups: name and email.
  • Whether you opted in to text messages, and the version of the consent wording you saw.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Voice assistant. If you choose to start a conversation with the AI voice assistant, your voice, the conversation transcript, and related technical data are processed by our voice-assistant provider. The assistant is automated; please do not share sensitive information such as Social Security, bank, or account numbers.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information (for example, financial account numbers or government ID numbers) through the website forms.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the service you request.
  • To prepare a comparative market analysis for a property you submit.
  • To send the Seller Playbook, the Market Brief, and related real estate updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To send text messages, only if you opted in (see below).
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and keep records required of California real estate licensees and their brokers.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only:

  • To Century Financial Group, Corp., the responsible broker, for supervision and record-keeping required by California law.
  • To service providers who process it on our behalf, such as website hosting, form processing and workflow automation, email delivery, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), and the AI voice assistant (ElevenLabs). They may use it only to provide those services.
  • With other parties to a transaction (for example, escrow, lenders, or a cooperating agent), but only when you ask us to act for you and as needed for that transaction.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

Text messages & email

Text messages are sent only if you check the optional SMS box on a form. Consent is not a condition of any service. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out by emailing info@ninatien.org. We will still send messages about a transaction you are part of.

Cookies & third-party tools

  • Language choice: if you pick a language, a googtrans cookie remembers it. Translation is performed by Google Translate, which receives the page content and your technical data.
  • Disclaimer acknowledgment: stored in your browser's local storage so the notice is not shown again.
  • Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions and may read browser and device signals to tell people from bots.
  • Voice assistant: the ElevenLabs widget loads on each page and processes data when you start a conversation.

These providers handle data under their own privacy policies. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.

Retention & security

We keep inquiry and transaction records for as long as needed to respond to you and as required by California real estate record-keeping rules (generally at least three years), then delete or de-identify them. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your California privacy rights

California residents may request to:

  • Know what personal information we collected about you, the sources, purposes, and who we disclosed it to.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as required real estate records.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. To make a request, email info@ninatien.org or call 714-276-0960. We will verify your identity by matching information you give us with what we hold, and we respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request with your signed permission. Under California's “Shine the Light” law you may also ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not. Learn more from the California Attorney General.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track visitors across other websites or sell or share personal information, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of sale or sharing.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Questions? Contact Nina Tien at info@ninatien.org or 714-276-0960, or the brokerage at (714) 897-8800, 8295 Bolsa Avenue, Midway City, CA 92655. See also our Disclosures.
